DfT publishes LSTF Annual Report 2014/15
The Department for Transport has published the 2014/15 edition of its Local Sustainable Transport Fund Annual Report.
This report provides an overview of the Local Sustainable Transport Fund and summarises the achievements of the 95 projects delivered across England during the Fund’s fourth year. In particular, it focuses on how projects:
- Invested in sustainable transport (including typical costs and outputs of bus-related and active travel schemes)
- Boosted local economies
- Increased active travel in the community
- Supported access to education
Along with What Works? Learning from the Local Sustainable Transport Fund 2011-2015 the annual report provides an overview of the most effective approaches projects used to encourage more use of sustainable transport, as well as of the outputs and outcomes achieved and lessons learned.
Beth Hiblin, our lead consultant, was a researcher and co-author for this report – alongside Lynn Sloman and Ian Taylor from our sister consultancy Transport for Quality of Life.
