My Favourite...
Walk: Slipping on some comfy shoes to go out and explore a new city; just wandering around and seeing what you come across. My most recent chance to do this was in Amsterdam, where I loved the bikes, buses, boats, trams and trains too. Boy, do the Dutch know how to do sustainable transport!
Cycle Ride: Loading the kids in to our cargo bike and heading off along the lane to the shop or school in the next village; spotting tractors, sheep and other sights as we go.
Bus Trip: Anything on a double decker where I can nosey in to people's back gardens from the top deck!
Train Journey: Any long one which involves a quiet carriage and a good book.
Car Ride: My old car-share commute with Claire, when we got to have a good ol' gossip every morning.
