Transport for Quality of Life get New Associate

Transport for Quality of Life is pleased to announce that Beth Hiblin has joined them as an Associate.

Beth Hiblin is a specialist in Smarter Choices and travel behaviour change programmes. She will initially be working with local authorities on their Local Sustainable Transport Fund bids.

Lynn Sloman, Director of Transport for Quality of Life said "Beth is known for her previous role managing Travelchoice, Peterborough's Sustainable Travel Town programme, as well as for being Smarter Choices Advisor to the Cycling City & Towns for Cycling England. The knowledge she brings on delivery of these demonstration projects will help broaden the expertise Transport for Quality of Life can offer to its clients - and is especially useful as we start helping local authorities put together strong bids for the Local Sustainable Transport Fund."

Beth Hiblin said "Smarter Choice initiatives have consistently been proven to be great value for money, so in these cash-strapped times I think the time has finally come for them to move to being a core part of local transport strategies. I am really looking forward to working with Transport for Quality of Life's clients to make this happen."

Beth joins the existing Transport for Quality of Life team of Lynn Sloman, Ian Taylor, Carey Newson and Jillian Anable. She previously worked for Colin Buchanan and now also works independently as The Smarter Choice Consultancy.
